A Message From Our Director
As the Director of Custard Recruitment, I feel it is vitally important that all of my staff understand the importance of their role in consistently achieving the highest professional standards, with Safer Recruitment at the forefront of our minds at all times. My background is Human Resources and Employment Law, I am a qualified Primary School teacher and have been involved in developing safer recruitment processes since 2001, when I first started employing teachers. The one thing that links all of these elements of my life is my passion for ensuring that things are done correctly, ensuring the safeguarding of individuals and organisations.
Our Recruitment Compliance team carry out rigorous pre-employment checks, going above and beyond the legal expectations of our industry, to ensure that the person who joins your team is not only fully qualified and professionally capable of doing the role for which they have been recruited, but that they will not pose a risk to the safety of the people they are working with.

As a smaller business, my team are able to focus on what is important to us. We are driven to keep the reputation we have worked so hard to build over many years. This is done through genuinely caring about getting your recruitment right. I don’t believe that safer recruitment should mean more expensive recruitment for our clients.
